Compositions

This was the live performance of the final piece I worked on with another camper named William Johnson. To start, William and I recorded about 15 minutes of sound from a 1960’s Buchla analog synthesizer. We then developed a simple iPhone app that could control the volume of this track, and an iPad app that controlled the volume and components of 15 oscillators. For the live show, we played with these apps to create a unique song.
